+ Here is the conversation between me(K) and the Math professor(N) at the end of the lesson.
K: I missed the last class. May I have the syllabus please?
N: What is your name?
K: XXX Fong. (Don't want to show my real name.)
N: Oh, you are Fong.
Getting me the syllabus.
N: Two years ago, did you take the complex number with me?
K: (Thinking. Well, I remembered I took a class with him before but didn't remember what it was. Few seconds later...) Yes.
N: What happened to you at that time? Why didn't you come suddenly?
K: I dropped the class...You've a good memory... still remember it!
N: Do you know why I remembered it? You did quite well in the mid-term. Then suddenly, you disappeared.
K: Oh, I thought I did bad so dropped the class.
N: You didn't get back the mid-term result, did you?
K: No. (Regret on saying he'd a good memory and not talking back the mid-term)
N: (A casual tone)You know, it's none of my business. Just want to let you know I remember it.
K: Ok.
He gave me the syllabus and talked with another student.
+ The content is correct (95% sure, maybe miss some details). Well, I didn't quite remember the way he said. Any grammatical mistakes, please forgive me!!
+ Damn it. Damn it. I was surprised he remembered it so clearly. Acutally, I didn't quite rememeber him. At the first fifteen minutes of the lesson, I'd no idea he taught me before. Then, I found his appearence and voice are familiar. I thought I might be taught by him or at least saw him somewhere. Really, I still can't believe he remembered me so well. Every semester, a number of students drop classes.
+ Also, now, I think back. The reason I dropped his class is the bad schedule. In that semester, I'd five classes on Mon, Wed, and Fri morning. His 1.5 hours class was on Tue and Thur. The school is far way from my home. It takes me an hour for one way to school. You see, the traffic time is longer than the class time. At that time, I didn't want to attend his class. Acutally, I missed a few classes.
+ Another reason is the class was hard. I day-dreamed a lot and had no idea what was going on almost every lesson. I copied notes like a machine. Before the mid-term, I just read the notes and went through whatever I understood (50%... I believe!!)
+ Of course, I won't tell him the true reasons!! haha. Hope that he won't mention it again.
+ I've a strong feeling that the Math class (the current one) is >_< + I'm shocked. I'm not a good student, often late for classes and sometimes miss classes and homework. I'm afraid years later, professors may tell me somethings like, "oh, you're the one who was absent a lot". OMG!!
